- Videos and presentations introduce the instruments (Himalayan bowls, gong, crystal singing bowls, tuning forks and therapeutic percussion)

- Playing technique tutorials will get you started and practicing at home
Foundation Module – launches week 1
- An introduction to sound and the use of sound throughout history
- Explore current research in sound and music psychology and neuroscience to support how and why sound can be so effective at improving health and wellbeing
Classroom Week 2 –
We will unpack the Method of Sound Relaxation Therapy in more depth
- Take part in experiential exercises and small group sessions
- Practise playing techniques and experience sound-bath sessions
- Understand how different instruments affect mind, body and emotions in different ways
Classroom Week 3 –
- Discuss the application of the instruments and techniques in more depth
- Quizzes and interactive exercises help you check your understanding and deepen your knowledge
- Explore current research in sound and music psychology and neuroscience to support how and why sound can be so effective at improving health and wellbeing
Virtual Classroom Week 4 –
- During this session we will check all is well with your coursework and answer any questions you may have.
- We will check playing techniques
- There will be a Q&A session with your tutor
- Final check-in and review before your intensive module
Classroom Intensive Module Week 5 –
- Exploring the practical sessions in more depth
- Learn how to transition between your instruments and create ebb and flow
- Put together what you’ve learned with your peers
- Get in-class support from the tutor team
- Gain confidence and hands-on experience with your instruments
Classroom Intensive Module Week 6 – Final Qualifications
- Case Study check-ins
